Education and opportunities for girls
Our education focus addresses barriers that can interrupt learning: lack of materials, limited mentoring and unsafe environments. Proposed support includes learning materials, mentoring, life skills and school-continuity activities with local education and community partners.
We aim to combine practical learning with leadership and confidence-building. Activities for minors require age-appropriate participation and suitable safeguarding arrangements. We will define participation targets with delivery partners before programme launch.
Protection of women, girls and children
Our proposed protection programmes address domestic, sexual and gender-based violence, abuse and exploitation. The approach combines community awareness, rights education and safe referral to qualified health, psychosocial, legal and protection providers where available.
Prevention activities would involve parents, caregivers and community leaders. Economic empowerment would include financial literacy, entrepreneurship and practical livelihood training. Agape does not present itself as an emergency service, medical clinic or legal practice.
Health awareness and reproductive rights
Our health priorities include sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV prevention and trusted information for adolescents and families. Proposed workshops will use age-appropriate materials and qualified local health partners.
The role of Agape is awareness, coordination and referral. Diagnosis, treatment and clinical advice belong to qualified healthcare professionals. We do not request personal medical histories through public contact forms.
Community solidarity and practical skills
We are developing community support around food and essential goods, school supplies, basic digital skills and financial literacy. Activities will be selected according to local needs, resources and delivery capacity.
Goods donations must be agreed in advance so that items are appropriate, safe and feasible to deliver. Donors and volunteers can contact Agape to discuss a specific activity rather than assume that all proposed services are already available.
Norway and international partnerships
In Oslo, proposed activities include youth mentoring for ages 13–25, inclusion workshops and courses for women and girls. Our existing Norway project page explains these proposals in more detail.
Humanitarian cooperation, including water, hygiene and displaced learners, remains a development area. We seek qualified partners and do not claim delivery or results before resources and evidence are confirmed.
